BIOL 1308 - Biology for Non-Science Majors I (Lecture)Integrated Reading & Writing Basic Skills Prerequisite: INRW 0420 Math Basic Skills Prerequisite: MATH 0410 This course includes a study of fundamental principles of living organisms including physical and chemical properties of life, organization, function, evolutionary adaptation, and classification. Concepts of physiology, genetics, ecology, and the scientific method are also included. This course fulfills the Life and Physical Sciences foundational component area of the core and addresses the following required objectives: Critical Thinking, Communication, Empirical Quantitative Skills, and Teamwork.
