ENGR 2301 - Mechanics I: StaticsPrerequisites: MATH 2414 (or concurrent enrollment) and PHYS 2425 or equivalent with a grade of "C" or better. Basic theory of engineering mechanics, using calculus, involving the description of forces, moments, and couples acting on stationary engineering structures; engineering applications of equilibrium in two and three dimensions of particles and rigid bodies, free-body diagrams, friction, internal forces, centroids, centers of gravity, and moments of inertia.
