MATH 0120 - Special Topics in Elementary Algebra

Corequisites: MATH 0320

Math Basic Skills Prerequisite: MATH 0410
This course is intended for STEM majors who have completed MATH 0410. Students will co-enroll in both MATH 0120 and MATH 0320. This course supports students in developing skills, strategies, and reasoning needed to succeed in mathematics, including communication and appropriate use of technology. Topics include the study of numeracy and the real number system; algebraic concepts, notation, and reasoning; quantitative relationships; mathematical models; and problem solving, and any addition topics as needed to support the content of MATH 0320.
