CHEM 1412 - General Chemistry II
Prerequisites: Credit for CHEM 1411 or (CHEM 1311 and CHEM 1111) with a grade of “C” or better. Integrated Reading & Writing Basic Skills Prerequisite: INRW 0420
Math Basic Skills Prerequisite: MATH 0410
Chemical equilibrium; phase diagrams and spectrometry; acid-base concepts; thermodynamics; kinetics; electrochemistry; nuclear chemistry; an introduction to organic chemistry and descriptive inorganic chemistry. CHEM 1412 is equivalent to a combination of CHEM 1112 and CHEM 1312 .
This course fulfills the Life and Physical Sciences foundational component area of the core and addresses the following required objectives: Critical Thinking, Communication, Empirical Quantitative Skills, and Teamwork.
