    This program is being phased out effective Spring 2023. 

    As of March 21, 2023, No new students will be accepted into this program.

    **Students currently in these programs will be able to complete their coursework by the summer of 2026. If a student is not planning to complete by that time, they are encouraged to reach out to their advisor to review other major options. 

     

    This award will prepare students for employment in the water treatment industry.  Upon degree completion, students will obtain the technical and scientific knowledge to obtain licensure in this field of study. Students will monitor, troubleshoot, and chemically clean equipment that is essential for the treatment of water/wastewater.

    With this award, you may seek jobs such as:

    Water Treatment Plant Operator, Water Distribution System Operator, Wastewater Collection System Operator, Wastewater Treatment and Reuse Plant Operator
