The Land Surveying Technician Occupational Skill Award introduces students to the essential procedures, principles, and instrumentation required for entry-level employment in the field. Students gain experience measuring and capturing data for land boundaries, structures, and topographical features. Designed for immediate workforce entry, this award is fully stackable into a Level 1 Certificate. This program serves as a foundational step toward meeting the educational requirements for professional licensure as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS).

Students pursuing this award are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.
