Return to: Programs and Courses The Associate of Science (AS) degrees are specifically designed for transfer as the equivalent of the first half of the Baccalaureate Degree requirements of most public colleges and Universities.
The Computer Science concentration prepares students for entry-level positions as software developers. The program instills students with fundamental concepts and provides them with hands-on experience developing software applications. Student will be able to obtain the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the computer industry.
This concentration also provides a foundation for transfer into a 4-year computer science program.

Degree Requirements (Total Credit Hours 60)
Communication (10) Core - 2 courses (6 credit hours)
Mathematics (20) Core - 1 course (4 credit hours)
Additional Requirements (17 hours)

A course may be used only once to fulfill degree requirements.
