This program was designed to synchronously address career objectives that span over two disciplines; Digital Media and Visual Arts.
 
Students will gain a theoretical understanding of color theory, aesthetics, and visual presentation in the business world and will be exposed to hands-on technical skills needed for application and distribution of new media works. Career fields include but are not limited to: graphic/visual design, user interface design, and various new media design fields.
 
The goal is for students to further their education by obtaining a Bachelor of Applied Arts & Sciences (BAAS) degree at any accredited university offering BAAS degrees or the following institutions: Texas A&M San Antonio, North Texas (online), University of Texas at Tyler, and Texas A&M Commerce (online).
 
This degree contains occupationally-specific credits that may not be accepted at other institutions.
