Our faculty and staff are dedicated to providing students with the highest quality educational experience and fulfilling our mission of Creating Opportunities for Success.
Northwest Vista College has an open door admissions policy, which means there are no entrance exam scores, minimum GPA or class ranking required. The only requirement is completion of a high school diploma or GED.
The Information Security and Assurance Certificate may be completed in one year. Information Security and Assurance will prepare students to design, implement and secure computer networks. Students with this degree will be able to install security software, monitor networks for security breaches, respond to cyber attacks and in some cases, gather data and evidence to be used in prosecuting cyber crime.
A course may be used only once to fulfill degree requirements.
The student is encouraged to carefully examine requirements at the transfer institution. Requirements vary from institution to institution and can change from one year to the next.
