This certificate is designed for practitioners new to asynchronous or non-concurrent e-learning technology but experienced in training and performance; practitioners wanting to brush up on the newest techniques; instructional designers; curriculum builders; learning managers; courseware producers; sales, safety, health-care, finance, higher education, and government trainers. If you’re moving from instructor-led training into the world of e-learning, this certificate is a uniquely valuable place to start. Graduates of the Digital Media program and individuals with an associate or baccalaureate degree in a media related field not limited to the following; graphic, web design, & instructional design, web development, interactive media, program are eligible for this award.  Students with a degree in an area other than above but with experience  or working knowledge in the field can be admitted to the program with Program Coordinator approval.  Students must demonstrate proficiency in instructional design, multimedia principles, and digital media content deployment over various platforms.

A course may be used only once to fulfill degree requirements.

The student is encouraged to carefully examine requirements at the transfer institution. Requirements vary from institution to institution and can change from one year to the next.
