Return to: Degree Plans & Certificates - By Degree Type The Marketable Skills Achievement Award is a sequence of courses that allows students to obtain high in-demand skills or improve their current skills.
Marketable Skills Achievement Awards are embedded into A.A.S and Certificate program plans. Fulfillment of prerequisites is accomplished by following the program plan. MSAs are automatically awarded upon completion of the required courses. If an A.A.S or Certificate program plan is not being followed, please see the Program Coordinator to determine the requirement for completion of prerequisites for each course associated with the award.
The Java Programming award prepares students to work as a Computer Programmer in both commercial and non-profit settings. The program provides students with hands-on experience developing software packages using the latest technologies in the computer industry. |
