Registration Dates & Payment Deadlines/Refund Dates


 

General Registration Information:

Fall 2022 Registration begins on April 3, 2023 and proceeds according to time-ticketing. Time-ticketing is based on the total number of hours earned from colleges in the Alamo Colleges District plus any transfer hours that have been posted to your record, as reflected in the Student ACES System. Additional registration and payment information is available on the Alamo Colleges District Registration/Payment Calendars.

All first-time-in-college students are encouraged to begin the enrollment process early in order to complete all admissions, testing, and registration requirements by the posted deadlines. The Steps to Enrollment provides a checklist of requirements.

 

In 2023-2024, the colleges are closed: 

  • Monday, September 2, 2024
  • Thursday, November 28 - Sunday, December 1, 2024
  • Thursday, December 19, 2024 - Wednesday, January 1, 2025
  • Monday, January 20, 2025
  • Monday, March 10 - Sunday, March 16, 2025
  • Monday, March 31, 2025
  • Friday, April 18 - Sunday, April 20, 2024
  • Friday, May 2, 2024
  • Monday, May 26, 2025
  • Thursday, June 19, 2025
  • Thursday, July 3, 2025
  • Fridays June 6 through July 25, 2025

 

Open registration for all students beginning April 2, 2024 also applies to the following categories of students:

  • Newly Admitted

  • Dual Credit

  • Early College High School

  • Academies

  • Senior Citizens not using a tuition waiver

  • Virtual College

 

Check the number of hours on your record by following these steps:

  1. Log into the ACES portal with your Alamo Colleges District ID and Password (If you do not have your Alamo Colleges District ID and password follow the instructions located on https://alamoaces.alamo.edu)

  2. Select Student

  3. Select Web Services

  4. Select Student

  5. Select Registration

  6. Select Registration Status

  7. Select the appropriate Term from the drop-down menu and select Submit

  8. Under the Earned Credit heading you will see the hours you have on your student record.

NOTE: If you have questions concerning your hours, contact your home college Enrollment Services/Admissions and Records Office.

Any Unpaid Tuition and Fee Balance May Result in Students Being Dropped From All Courses. However, if you do not plan to attend, please drop your courses through ACES or in person at the Enrollment Services/Admissions and Records office before classes begin to ensure a 100% refund. You can check your registration status via ACES.

Payments made on Saturday and Sunday must be made online. Online payments can be made until 1:00 p.m. of the deadline date. In person payments must be made by 5:00 p.m.

Check Summer Hours Calendar as all colleges are closed on Friday during June and July.

 

 

View and Pay Your Account

  1. Log into the ACES portal with your Alamo Colleges District ID and Password (If you do not have your Alamo Colleges District ID and password follow the instructions located on https://alamoaces.alamo.edu)

  2. Select Student

  3. Select Web Services

  4. Select Student

  5. Select Student Account

  6. Select Account Summary to review your account balance

  7. Select Make a Payment

  8. Select Virtual Business Office. This will take you to the TouchNet Payment website.

  9. To pay in full select Make a Payment

  10. To sign up for the Payment Plan, select Enroll in Plan
