Computer Programming Occupational Skills Award

This Occupational Skills Award (OSA) provides a foundational understanding of key programming languages and concepts essential for entry-level positions in the software development industry. This OSA encompasses:
1. **Introduction to C++**: Covers the basics of C++ programming, including syntax, control structures, functions, and the standard library, laying the groundwork for understanding procedural and object-oriented programming.
2. **Java Programming**: Introduces Java, focusing on object-oriented programming concepts, including classes, objects, inheritance, and polymorphism, as well as Java-specific syntax and libraries. Explores the principles of OOP, emphasizing encapsulation, abstraction, inheritance, and polymorphism.
4. **Scripting with Python**: Teaches Python programming, emphasizing scripting, automation, and the application of Python in various domains like data analysis, web development, and machine learning.
5. **Introduction to Web Programming**: Provides a comprehensive overview of web development, covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the basics of client-server architecture, enabling students to create and deploy simple web applications.
This award equips students with a broad spectrum of programming skills and theoretical knowledge, preparing them for further study or entry-level roles in software development and related fields.

This OSA will prepare students for computer programming careers in Java, Python, and C++.
