The Associate of Arts (AA) degrees are specifically designed for transfer as the equivalent of the first half of the Baccalaureate Degree requirements of most public colleges and Universities.

The Criminal Justice concentration is designed to provide students with a basic foundation in legal studies. Students will gain a broad understanding of the historical and philosophical basis of criminal law as well as the substantive and procedural aspects. The field of study curriculum, as listed in the additional requirements, has been approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
